About the Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, you will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial information supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, as well as budgeting and forecasting activities. Working closely with finance and business partners, you'll help deliver meaningful financial insights while driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages, including financial analysis, supporting schedules, and executive commentary
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting, including management reports, board materials, and external reporting documentation
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities
- Maintain and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and key performance analyses
- Partner with finance and operational teams to understand business performance and provide actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation, standardization, and enhanced data analytics
- Support finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and strategic projects across the organization
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for senior leadership as business needs arise
What You Bring
- CPA designation required
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, or a combination of public accounting and corporate finance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience building financial models and reporting tools
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms; exposure to business intelligence tools is an asset
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, meaningful insights for senior stakeholders
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization
