The Role

My client, a leading financial services brokerage is seeking an experienced Pensions & Investments Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, office based position based in Portlaoise.

As the Pensions & Investments Administrator, you will be responsible for processing new business applications across Life Assurance, Pensions, and Investments, while liaising with Financial Advisors, life companies, and clients to ensure a smooth, compliant, and well-managed process from start to finish.

Tasks & Duties

  • Process new business applications across Life Assurance, Pensions, and Investments accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with Financial Advisors, life companies, and clients to ensure applications and pension transfers progress smoothly
  • Monitor new business pipelines, follow up on outstanding requirements, and keep clients informed throughout the process
  • Carry out file checks and ensure adherence to Central Bank regulations and company procedures
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, with strong accuracy and attention to detail at every stage

Essential Requirements

  • 1–5 years' experience in a financial services brokerage, with previous pensions administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, life assurance, and investment products
  • APA (Life & Pensions) qualified as a minimum
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must currently be based within a commutable distance of Portlaoise, Co. Laois, and hold full working rights in Ireland

  • QFA qualification (or working towards)
