About the Role
Join a well-established Australian engineering business recognised for delivering specialised hydraulic and fluid power solutions across the mining, resources, and heavy industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, safety, and long-term client partnerships, you'll become part of a highly skilled team working on critical equipment that keeps major operations running.
This is a hybrid role offering the best of both worlds—working from a Perth metro workshop while also supporting FIFO site work as required. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with exposure to a diverse range of equipment and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, repair, and overhaul hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic faults across a variety of equipment
- Complete workshop-based repairs and rebuilds to a high standard
- Perform FIFO site work, including breakdown support and planned maintenance
- Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
About You
- Australian Trade Certificate (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fitter or similar)
- Experience servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding hydraulic systems
- Strong understanding of fluid power and pneumatic systems
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous mining, resources, or heavy industry experience will be highly regarded
- Willingness to travel for FIFO site work as required
