About the Role

An established and highly respected Western Australian manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join its finance team. With a history spanning more than a century, this organisation has built a strong reputation across the industry and is home to several well-recognised brands.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking to step into a broad group finance role within a stable, growing business.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance, and contributing to the ongoing success of a diverse manufacturing operation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Managing group consolidations and financial reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.
  • Supporting external audits and taxation requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insights.

 

About You

  • CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
  • Previous experience in a Group Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
  • Experience within manufacturing or a complex commercial environment will be highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
