Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant (Real Estate)

About the Opportunity

A well-established global fund administrator is seeking Fund Accountants/ Senior Fund Accountants to join their Real Estate fund services team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a fund accounting professional with real estate experience to join a stable, growing team with a clear career progression path.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and ensure timely delivery of NAVs, financial statements, and fund reporting
• Review accounting outputs and oversee quarter-end processes and deliverables, working with books prepared by offshore teams
• Perform consolidation across multiple SPV entities and multi-currency structures within RE fund portfolios
• Handle investor services including capital calls, distributions, and investor notices
• Coordinate with Back Office and offshore teams, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficient workflow management
• Maintain accurate client records, reconciled cash balances, and adherence to internal processes and controls
• Identify and report errors or breaches promptly, ensuring compliance with firm standards
• Support periodic reviews and regulatory reporting as required

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) or equivalent, and at least 2+ years in real estate fund accounting or real estate management
• Direct experience in real estate fund accounting — from a fund administrator, audit firm (auditing RE funds), or buy-side RE asset manager
• Strong knowledge of consolidations, multi-currency entities, and property-related financial processes
• Proficiency with property systems (e.g. Yardi, Horizon) and ability to review third-party management accounts
• Understanding of various income types, rent reconciliations, lease-related items, GST/tax, and capital allowances
• Confident communicator — comfortable engaging with clients and senior management
• Excellent organizational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
