Our client is a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation, regarded as one of the world's leaders in industrial flow control solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an enthusiastic Territory Sales Representative to manage an established Western Australian territory while identifying new opportunities to further grow the business.

The Role

This is a field-based Territory Sales position managing an established portfolio across Western Australia.

Rather than sitting behind a desk preparing quotations, your focus will be on building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, growing existing accounts and developing new business throughout your territory.

You'll work closely with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, project teams and operational personnel, helping customers select the right isolation valve solutions for their applications.

The business has excellent internal support, allowing you to spend your time where it matters most — in front of customers.

The Candidate

We're looking for someone with strong commercial drive and an outgoing personality.

You may come from a technical sales background within industrial equipment, pumps, valves, flow control, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment or similar industrial sectors.

A trade background, particularly as a Mechanical Fitter, is highly regarded, however an engineering degree is not required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven technical sales or account management experience.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for winning new business and growing customer accounts.
• Confidence working autonomously across a large territory.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical products.
• Exposure to mining, industrial processing, heavy industry, dewatering or similar markets.
• Valve experience would be highly regarded but is certainly not essential, with full product training provided.
• A proactive, energetic personality with the confidence to engage customers at all levels.

Personality, commercial drive and the ability to build long-term customer relationships are considered just as important as technical knowledge.
