Facilities & Asset Manager – Aged Care

The Role
This is a key role within the property function, responsible for supporting the effective management of property assets, contractor relationships, compliance requirements, maintenance programs and capital works. Key Responsibilities will include:

• Manage property contracts, procurement and contractor performance
• Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs
• Oversee essential services compliance, including fire systems, lifts and other critical assets
• Coordinate maintenance and capital works budgets, approvals and reporting
• Support property audits, compliance reporting and accreditation requirements
• Develop and improve asset management systems, processes and lifecycle strategies
• Lead tenders and portfolio-wide property improvement initiatives
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and external service providers

The Requirements

• Strong experience in property services, facilities or asset management ideally within the Aged Care Industry (although not essential)
• Strong experience in contract management, procurement and compliance
• Sound knowledge of essential services compliance and relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851-2012
• Experience managing contractors, property audits, maintenance programs and risk
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Management or a related discipline
• Experience with ERP, WMS or CMMS Systems
• Current driver's licence
