Senior Payroll Officer – Eastern Suburbs (Perth)

$110,000 - $125,000 + Super 

Monday - Friday 

Office based - 38 hours (flexible start and finish times) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
  • Support end-to-end payroll operations, including new starters, terminations, and adjustments
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and system data
  • Provide payroll administration support, including timesheet processing, data entry, and document management
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Interpret awards, EBAs, and relevant payroll legislation
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Support payroll audits, system enhancements, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll-focused position
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
  • Experience with payroll systems such as Chris21, SAP Success Factors, Workday, Oracle, or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Full Australian working rights and be based in Perth
