Apply directWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join a nursing home team in Galway. The successful candidate will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents while leading and mentoring a team of nursing and care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing in the overall clinical and operational management of the facility
- Ensure the highest standards of nursing care in line with HIQA regulations
- Supervise, support, and develop nursing and healthcare assistant staff
- Participate in care planning, assessment, and review of residents
- Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment for residents and staff
- Monitor clinical standards, audits, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ post-registration experience, preferably in elderly care
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
