Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred
- Experience supporting industrial equipment or manufacturing products is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls, prepare quotations, and process sales orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.
- Deliver a positive customer experience to encourage long-term business relationships.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and inventory teams to ensure product availability and accurate order fulfillment.
- Review inventory levels to fulfill in-stock orders and manage backordered items.
- Monitor purchase orders and production schedules to help expedite customer shipments.
- Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Support inventory management initiatives, including maintaining appropriate safety stock levels.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer agreements and recurring order programs.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and industry knowledge.
- Utilize ERP software and Microsoft Office applications daily.
- Use Adobe Acrobat for document management and communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
