Sealing Foreman

Were seeking an experienced Sealing Foreman to lead a crew delivering chipseal, asphalt and road maintenance works across a range of SOuth Island projects.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who knows the sealing industry enjoys being out on site can lead a crew and take ownership of getting the job done safely efficiently and to a high standard.

About the Role:
As Sealing Foreman youll be responsible for running the day to day sealing operations on site coordinating your crew plant and resources and ensuring work is completed to programme and specification.

Youll work closely with supervisors project managers clients and other site personnel to keep projects moving and deliver quality results.

Duties:

• Lead and coordinate sealing and surfacing crews on site
• Plan daily work programmes and allocate crew and resources
• Operate sealing and surfacing plant and equipment as required
• Monitor productivity quality and project outcomes
• Ensure work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard
• Promote and maintain strong health and safety standards

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in chipsealing resealing asphalt or road maintenance
• Proven leadership experience within civil construction
• Strong knowledge of sealing operations and plant
• Excellent planning communication and problem solving skills
• Class 2 Licence with WTR endorsement required
• Class 4 Licence advantageous
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
