Buyers Assistant

About the role

Working closely with the Buying team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring products, purchase orders, and supplier information are managed accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to the Buying team
• Creating and processing purchase orders (full systems training provided)
• Maintaining accurate product, pricing, and supplier information
• Assisting with reporting, data analysis, and documentation
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of products
• Supporting the team with general buying administration and coordination
• Assisting with ad hoc projects as required

About you

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Previous experience as a Buying Assistant, Buying Administrator, Merchandise Administrator, or in a retail buying support role (preferred)
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
