Technical Data & Quality Documentation Specialist
Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)
Pay: Based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Data & Quality Documentation Specialist to support our Quality team. This role is responsible for managing technical documentation, supporting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer standards—particularly for high-reliability and space-related products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support customer source inspections (pre-cap and final)
  • Prepare and compile source inspection data packages
  • Generate documentation for space and high-reliability (hi-rel) products
  • Analyze S2P data and create “as-built” and “as-designed” reports
  • Ensure full traceability and completeness of production documentation
  • Review documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness
  • Develop data reports for products requiring electronic submission
  • Perform in-process and returned product testing to identify root causes
  • Assist with procedure validation and documentation updates
  • Inspect products in accordance with J-STD-001 and best manufacturing practices
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102
  • Assist with nonconformance reports, CAPA, and root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Excellent written and technical communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions with precision
  • Experience working with technical data and reporting
  • Familiarity with test equipment (network analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.) preferred
  • Understanding of J-STD-001 standards is a plus
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle ITAR-controlled data

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field) with 2+ years of experience
  • Military experience in a related field will be considered

Work Environment

  • On-site, primarily office-based role
  • Extended periods of sitting and computer work
  • Must follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace
