A large Australian Government department is seeking experienced Solution Architect(s) to support the delivery of modern, secure and scalable digital solutions that enable critical national services. This is an exciting opportunity for senior solution architects with strong Microsoft Azure and enterprise architecture experience to work on complex, high‑impact initiatives in a dynamic and delivery‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead end‑to‑end solution architectures that meet business, security, performance and reliability requirements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional business and technical teams to cost, design and oversee implementation of solutions
- Provide architectural leadership and expert advice to support sound decision‑making and long‑term strategic outcomes
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards, patterns and roadmaps, including risk assessment
- Produce high‑quality solution architecture artefacts, including HLDs, conceptual and detailed designs, and options/impact analysis
- Work closely with Enterprise, Data and other Domain Architects to ensure alignment across the architecture landscape
- Contribute to continuous improvement by staying informed of emerging technologies and enterprise patterns
Skills & ExperienceEssential:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‑class Solution Architecture using Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure, with integration across cloud and on‑premises environments
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, Agile practices, SDLC and cloud‑native approaches
- Proven experience producing clear and effective architecture design documentation
