Senior Lead Business Analyst

Davidson Technology Consulting is seeking to engage a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst to work with our team on a critical transformation program.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role on a complex, enterprise-scale delivery where you'll set the benchmark for business analysis capability, coach and uplift a team of Business Analysts, and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive successful programme outcomes.

About the Role

As the Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading business analysis activities across a large, multi-system transformation programme currently progressing through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation.

Operating across Salesforce and several integrated enterprise platforms, you will play a key role in ensuring requirements quality, traceability, governance, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution while supporting the programme through a critical delivery phase.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and champion business analysis best practice across the programme
• Coach, mentor and provide quality oversight to a team of Business Analysts
• Establish and govern requirements management, traceability and sign-off processes
• Manage and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) governance
• Drive quality outcomes through Azure DevOps (or similar) tooling
• Support UAT, business validation and defect triage activities
• Clarify and manage requirements across multiple business and technology domains
• Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Test Leads and Programme Leadership
• Engage effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams and external delivery partners
• Identify risks, remove ambiguity and maintain delivery momentum

About You

You are a senior business analysis professional who combines strong delivery expertise with natural leadership capability.

You are comfortable operating in complex environments, can confidently engage senior stakeholders, and have a track record of coaching others while maintaining high standards of quality and governance.

You bring a pragmatic approach, strong commercial judgement, and the ability to navigate challenging situations while maintaining positive working relationships.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within large-scale transformation programmes
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and coaching Business Analysts
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps or similar requirements management tools
• Deep understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies and governance practices
• Experience developing and governing Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
• Hands-on experience delivering Salesforce-based projects or programmes
• Experience supporting UAT and business validation activities
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement
• Strong facilitation, requirements elicitation and documentation capabilities

Desirable

• Experience with JDE, AMCS, MDM or operational enterprise platforms
• Exposure to data migration and systems integration programmes
• Salesforce implementation or transformation experience
• Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools
• CBAP, PMI-PBA or equivalent business analysis certification
