Security and Logistics Manager (Grade 9/10)
Parramatta Location
12 Month Contract
$650 - $700 per day + super
35 Hours Per Week
We are currently recruiting for a Security and Logistics Manager (Grade 9/10) for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Parramatta. This is a 12 month contract opportunity supporting one of Sydney's most significant public infrastructure and cultural projects. The role offers a 35-hour working week, with an on-call component, applicable allowance, and occasional evening or weekend work when operational requirements arise. Working within a complex, public-facing environment, you will lead security operations, emergency management planning, contract management and logistics functions, while playing a key role in preparations for the opening of a major new precinct.
The Opportunity This role has become available to provide cover during a period of parental leave and will be instrumental in supporting operational readiness activities leading up to a major precinct opening. While Parramatta will be your primary focus, there may be opportunities to provide support across additional sites as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead emergency management planning, preparedness and response activities.
- Oversee all security operations across the precinct.
- Manage CCTV, access control and security technology systems.
- Drive security compliance, auditing, training and awareness programs.
- Manage outsourced security contracts and monitor service delivery performance.
- Act as the key escalation point for security and operational incidents.
- Support logistics functions to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
- Provide leadership and direction to large operational teams.
- Contribute to operational readiness activities associated with a major new facility opening.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring significant experience in security management and emergency management within large, complex environments. You will be recognised as a subject matter expert in security operations and have a strong understanding of risk management, incident response and contract management. You will also possess:
- Experience managing large outsourced security contracts.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
- Proven capability leading operational teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working within high-traffic, customer-facing facilities.
- The ability to remain calm and decisive in complex operational situations.
- An understanding of logistics operations and their relationship to security functions.

- Airports and aviation environments.
- Large public venues and event operations.
- Major infrastructure assets.
