About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee a portfolio of privately held clients while managing engagement teams across a variety of accounting, assurance, and tax projects. What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of private company clients across multiple industries
  • Review financial statements, tax engagements, and other client deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Lead and mentor accounting professionals, supporting their technical and professional development
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting, tax, and financial reporting matters
  • Oversee engagement planning, workflow management, budgets, and deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on operational initiatives and team development

What You'll Bring

  • CPA designation or working toward completion
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing private company clients in a public accounting environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting, assurance, and tax principles
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and build client relationships
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a small or mid-sized public accounting firm is considered an asset
