About the Role
Join a committed and energetic team within our client's Emergency Department, where you’ll contribute to improving outcomes for local communities. Serving a high‑needs, high Māori population, this role offers the opportunity to make meaningful impact while working within a department that sees approximately 49,000 presentations annually, including 25% paediatrics. The service is supported by 21 SMOs. Both permanent and fixed‑term (to 05/10/2026) positions are available.

This hospital is the principal referral centre for the Northland region, serving a population of roughly 170,000. The Emergency Department supports four acute hospitals across the district delivering comprehensive emergency care for the entire region.
Role Highlights and Benefits
