Salary: £13.38 per hour
Job Type: Temporary (12 weeks) to Permanent,
Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday 7am-4.30pm and Friday 7am-4pm

The Role
As a Joinery Operative, you'll play a key part in keeping the department running smoothly, picking and packing joinery products and stepping in on assembly and finishing tasks when colleagues are absent. It's a varied, practical role where no two days are the same, with the chance to move from a temporary position to a permanent one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack joinery products efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with assembly and finishing tasks during staff absences.
  • Handle items safely, including lifting up to 25kg.
  • Keep your workspace tidy and organised.
  • Follow company procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this Joinery Operative role, you'll ideally have:

  • Comfort with manual handling, including lifting items up to 25kg
  • A reliable, flexible approach and a willingness to cover different tasks when required.
  • A keen interest in learning, as full training is provided for assembly and finishing.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic as part of a team.
  • Previous warehouse, production or joinery experience is welcome but not essential.
