MIG Welder 

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour 

Job Summary 

Are you an experienced welder who takes pride in producing strong, high-quality work? We're looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll perform MIG welding on outdoor patio tables and chairs, helping fabricate and assemble quality finished products. 

The ideal candidate has previous MIG welding experience, is comfortable working in a metal fabrication environment, and takes pride in producing clean, consistent welds. 

What You'll Be Doing 

As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include: 

• MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on components used to manufacture outdoor patio tables and chairs. 

• Product Assembly: Fit, position, and weld components together to produce completed patio furniture. 

• Steel Fabrication: Assist with the fabrication and assembly of steel components used throughout the manufacturing process. 

• Fit-Up: Properly position and align parts prior to welding to ensure accurate assembly. 

• Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards. 

• Production Support: Work alongside the fabrication team to keep products moving efficiently through production. 

• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures. 

In addition, you'll work in a manufacturing environment specializing in steel fabrication, laser cutting, tube and wire bending, and welding. 

What We're Looking For 

Qualifications 

• Previous MIG welding experience required. 

• Previous steel fabrication or metalworking experience preferred. 

• Ability to fit and align components prior to welding. 

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. 

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Skills 

• MIG Welding: Ability to produce consistent, quality MIG welds on steel components. 

• Fabrication & Assembly: Ability to fit, position, weld, and assemble components used to manufacture outdoor patio furniture. 

• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with fabricated metal components and welding equipment. 

• Quality Focus: Ability to inspect completed welds and identify potential quality concerns. 

• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the welding process. 

• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with welders, fabricators, and other production team members. 

• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following proper welding and manufacturing safety procedures.
