A Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to provide surgical care across the surgery clinic, operating room, and on-call services.
Position Highlights:
Full-time General Surgery opportunity
Surgery clinic volume of ~22 patients per week, with opportunity for growth
Typical case mix includes general surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and emergency/trauma cases
Provide general surgery and trauma call
Round on surgery patients
Serve as Trauma Medical Director with overall oversight of the Trauma program
Provide leadership and educational guidance to the surgery team
Collaborate with clinic and operating room leadership on best practices
In-house staff assist with hospital privileging and credentialing
