Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Carrollton, TX 75007
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Description

We are looking for experienced and dependable Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Carrollton. Machine Operators will be responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring the manufacturing process, and ensuring finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately read measurements using a tape measure.

Duties and Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Operate assigned production machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures and production requirements.

Production Monitoring: Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper performance and make adjustments as needed.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

Measurement: Accurately measure materials and finished products using a tape measure. Must be able to read measurements to the 1/16th of an inch.

Machine Setup: Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required for production.

Material Handling: Load and position materials into machinery and remove completed products as needed.

Safety: Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment while operating machinery.

Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience required.

Measurement Skills: Must be comfortable using a tape measure and accurately reading measurements to the 1/16th of an inch.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues or measurement discrepancies.

Mechanical Ability: Ability to learn and operate production machinery and make basic machine adjustments.

Reliability: Must have dependable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.

Availability: Must be available to work 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, and overtime as needed.
