Tire Mounter

Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $16/hr

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Mounter to join our fleet maintenance team in Statesville, NC. This position is responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing, and inspecting tires for 18-wheeler trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy-duty tire work, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mount and dismount truck and trailer tires using industry-standard equipment and procedures.
• Inspect tires for damage, wear, or other issues and report findings to maintenance supervisors.
• Properly balance tires to ensure safe and smooth vehicle operation.
• Maintain tire inventory and assist with restocking when needed.
• Perform tire rotations, repairs, and replacements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate tire machines, torque tools, jacks, and lifts safely and correctly.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
