Carpenter / Leading Hand – High-End Residential Construction
Location: Newcastle & Hunter Region
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr + Super + Overtime Available

Build Some of Newcastle's Finest Homes We are a growing residential construction company specialising in the delivery of custom luxury homes valued up to $5 million throughout the Newcastle and Hunter region.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Leading Hand who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work on architecturally designed, high-end residential projects.
This is an opportunity to be part of a professional team delivering premium homes where attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality are paramount.
About the Role Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • High-quality carpentry across all stages of construction
  • Leading and coordinating small site teams and subcontractors
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Ensuring projects maintain exceptional quality standards
  • Managing daily site activities and maintaining program timelines
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Working closely with clients, supervisors, and trades on premium residential projects
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade certification
  • Previous experience in high-end residential construction
  • Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential building practices and finishes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • White Card
