Production Floor Associate

Responsible for supporting various areas of production as a floater within a metal machining manufacturing facility. This role moves between departments as needed — running machines, assisting with assembly, and supporting shipping — to help keep production running smoothly. 

Responsibilities

  • Rotate between departments as needed, including machine operation, assembly, and shipping.

  • Operate and monitor machining equipment under supervision as assigned.

  • Assist with assembling components and finished products.

  • Support shipping department tasks such as packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.

  • Follow work instructions and production schedules across multiple departments.

  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

  • Communicate any equipment or process issues to supervisors.

  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple tasks.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work areas.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to be cross-trained across various departments.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $18.00 per hour

  • 1st Shift

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
