Senior Bid Writer (Strategic Proposals Lead)

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Bid Writer/Manager to lead the development of compelling, strategic tender submissions for complex, high-value opportunities across enterprise and government clients. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle across complex, high-value opportunities, ensuring all submissions are compliant, accurate and delivered on time
• Develop and drive clear win strategies that articulate a strong, differentiated value proposition aligned to client priorities
• Write and oversee the production of high-quality, client-focused submissions, including executive summaries, methodologies and mobilisation plans
• Translate technical capability and operational delivery into commercially compelling, easy-to-understand proposals
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders across sales, operations, finance and technical teams to shape opportunities and secure high-quality inputs
• Support bid/no-bid decisions and pipeline prioritisation in line with growth strategy
• Establish and implement best-practice bid processes, including governance frameworks, review gates, document control and version management
• Build and maintain a structured bid library, templates and content bank to improve efficiency and consistency
