Data & AI Product Owner (E1)

A Global IT Service is looking for a Data & AI Product Owner / Data Business Partner to lead the strategic transforming the Claims function into a truly data-driven organization
You will be working closely with Data Business Partners, claims domain experts, and cross-functional IT teams, you will drive the development and expansion of scalable data and AI solutions. These solutions will directly contribute to improving claims processing, enhancing customer service, and supporting better business decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Data & AI products, from ideation through implementation and value realization
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and strategy for Claims-related data and AI products
- Work closely with Claims business stakeholders, Data Business Partners, domain experts, and IT teams
- Identify business problems and opportunities where data and AI can deliver measurable value
- Lead initiatives to improve Claims performance, claims processing, customer experience, and decision-making through data and AI
- Translate data-driven insights into practical and scalable products and solutions
- Manage stakeholders and communicate complex technical/data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with Agile delivery teams and support effective project/product delivery
- Balance innovation with operational stability, usability, scalability, and sustainability
- Monitor product performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive collaboration across business, data, and technology teams and ensure successful product adoption
- Maintain thorough documentation, planning, prioritization, and delivery management

Required Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering / AI Engineering, Actuarial Science
- Experience with project delivery and/or strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile delivery teams
- Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred
- Strong understanding of the Insurance or Financial Services industry
- Ability to translate data and analytical insights into business value and practical products
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a structured approach to problem solving

Salary: Up to 12,000,000 JPY/Year (9,000,000 JPY base + Bonus +OT)
Working Hours: 9:00 – 17:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 50% WFH and 50% Work from Office 
Holidays: Two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), Paid vacation, New Year's holiday, special leave, summer vacation
