Veterinary Receptionist

Receptionist – Veterinary Clinic   Local animal clinic is hiring a Receptionist to work at their busy front desk.  The ideal candidates will have some prior medical knowledge, but this is not required.  This is a full time, Furst-to-Hire position.  Must be able to rotate in and work every other Saturday morning from 7am to 1pm, and then have Wednesdays off. Must be comfortable working around all different types of animals, not just dogs and cats.   Hours: Mon-Fri, start time is 10am. (Some flexibility here - would consider an 11am if the candidate preferred it.) Will work until close which is usually between 6pm and 7pm. There is a need for some flexibility given the type of work. Will share covering every other Saturday from 7am to 1pm, with that Wednesday off.
Pay: $16.00/hour - $17.00/hour    Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Answer phones
• Check in guests and pets
• Use QuickBooks to track financial notes
• Handle paper charting (training provided)
• File charts
• Prepare paperwork for next day’s appointments

  Receptionist Requirements:

• Must be an animal-lover
• Take direction well
• Some medical knowledge is helpful
