Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Temporary – October through December, with potential for full-time employment

Position Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep, appearance, safety, and functionality of the company's facility. This position performs general maintenance and repair tasks, facility upkeep, and assists with various maintenance and improvement projects.
Essential Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs, including flooring, painting and touch-ups, fixtures, and other building-related repairs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-kept common areas, including windows, floors, and other facility spaces.
• Assist with the installation and replacement of air filters.
• Assist with the assembly, installation, and setup of furniture, including office dividers and other fixtures.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of bathroom fixtures.
• Assist the Facilities Manager with general maintenance projects and other facility-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following company safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and effectively prioritize assigned tasks.
• General knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and general facility upkeep.
• Ability to safely use hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work professionally with employees, vendors, contractors, and other team members.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and professional facility.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, general maintenance, or a related field required.
• Experience with carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, equipment maintenance, or general building upkeep preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in areas where there may be exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations, and other typical facility maintenance conditions.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and move materials or equipment as needed.
• Ability to work safely on ladders and access areas requiring elevated reach.
