Apply directEMEA Recruitment has been appointed by Mohawk Industries to secure a Finance Lead for their Procurement Global Center of Excellence (CoE) in Root (Luzern), Switzerland.
This is a critical, dual-faceted finance position responsible for ensuring financial governance, transparency, and value tracking across global procurement activities, while fully owning the local entity's financial management of MHK Schweiz.
As a key partner to both Procurement and Group Finance leadership, this position combines hands-on corporate entity controlling (P&L ownership, compliance, tax, statutory audit) with strategic Procurement Finance leadership (savings tracking methodologies, governance, and value realization).
Key Responsibilities:

MHK Schweiz Entity Controlling (P&L Ownership): Own and manage the full local P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles, while driving tax, statutory, audit, internal controls, and compliance requirements.

CoE Financial Governance & Budgeting: Build and manage the global CoE budget, cost planning, and forecasting. Handle intricate intercompany charging and invoicing mechanisms while optimizing cost-to-serve transparency across international regions.

Value Tracking & Benefit Realization: Own the procurement value tracking methodology (savings definitions, baseline rules, benefit types). Consolidate international value delivery inputs from Category teams into a single, harmonized, audit-ready reporting view.

Governance & Process Compliance: Design and implement robust financial governance frameworks for global procurement, including savings validation processes, approval workflows, and Delegation of Authority (DoA).

Reporting & Executive Support: Prepare structured, executive-level financial narratives, dashboards, and KPI reporting for the CoE leadership team and steering committees.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Global Category Directors, Regional Procurement leaders, and Group Controlling to align financial definitions, validate benefits, and support period-end activities.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field

Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in finance controlling, performance management, PMO finance, or procurement finance within a matrix environment

Technical Expertise: Strong mastery of financial savings methodologies, benefit tracking, corporate budgeting, and management reporting. High proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; familiarity with ERP or procurement analytics is a strong advantage

Soft Skills: High attention to detail, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive outputs

Languages: Fluent written and spoken English is required; Spanish or Italian is a distinct plus
