As the selected candidate, you will:
- Lead the technical design and delivery of complex platform and integration changes, ensuring high impact and quality.
- Act as a technical authority across cross-functional teams, influencing engineering standards and design decisions.
- Solve challenging, cross-system problems involving customer data, workflows, and integrations.
- Elevate engineering practices through hands-on leadership, conducting design reviews, and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Security, and Risk teams to deliver secure, resilient, and compliant technological solutions.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Over 15 years of experience in software or platform engineering, with practical knowledge of frontend (React) and backend (Java) development.
- Strong expertise in system design, integrations, and enterprise platform management.
- Experience working in regulated environments or large-scale enterprise settings (financial services experience is desirable).
- The ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives without formal authority.
- A passion for engineering excellence, high-quality code, and maintaining long-term platform health.
