• Rate ranges from $1000/day to $1200/day Incl super (flexible for the right person)

About the role:
The Senior IT Project Manager will deliver medium to large sized projects prioritized within the Service Futures forward work program, within scope, time and budget, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, new development, and enhancements to existing systems.
The role will actively contribute to Delivery Practice capability uplift through a structured program of work based on the Enterprise Delivery Framework. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Use skill and judgement to deliver projects on time within budget and with satisfied customers
• Manage stakeholders, including project team members and service providers to achieve agreed goals and outcomes.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of projects, including project budgets and relationships with vendors
• Report project actual expenditure against budget and forecast, explain variations and provide accurate and concise project financial reports to the project Sponsor, Steering Committee and PMO
• Manage project communications effectively, including team and stakeholder meetings leveraging informative, well-organized presentations
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure any changes that affect cost, time or scope are understood, documented, and approved before they are accepted
• Perform quality assurance for projects, ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
• Participate in project audits to ensure that project methodology and tools are being applied as intended and are achieving required outcomes

 
Must Have Domain Knowledge:

• Experience in running large utility system upgrades (preferably CC&B), managing scope, risk, schedule, vendor dependencies, and cutover.
• Mix of CC&B‑specific technical/functional skills and classic enterprise delivery skills across architecture, integration, testing, environments, and change.
• CC&B environment management and release skills.
• Soft skills like including cross‑functional collaboration: Ability to work across Retail Service business, CT&T and Oracle and offshore teams, including clear communication and issue triage skills.

 
Lead the planning and assessment of a business-critical billing system upgrade, including business case development, funding, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement. Oracle experience is highly regarded, with strong SME and technical leadership support available.
 
Build strong relationships across the business and technology teams, balancing project management with stakeholder engagement. A collaborative, personable approach is valued just as highly as technical expertise, and candidates with the right attitude and delivery skills will be considered even without Oracle experience.
