Job Summary
Build and prepare high-quality valve products that meet the customers needs and ship on time.

Job Description

• Prepare and tool up individual work orders to meet customer ship dates, including washing parts as needed and issuing parts to work orders.
• Assemble and air test standard valves according to established procedures and quality requirements.
• Assemble and adjust air-actuated valves.
• Interpret and follow assembly drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe assembly cell by following 5S principles.
• Operate the parts wash system as required.
• Consistently meet established production and quality standards.
• Perform work in accordance with productivity, utilization, scrap and rework standards and goals.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to assemble, test and adjust mechanical and air-actuated components.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
• Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, valve assembly, or industrial experience is a plus .
