About the Role

This full-time, ongoing Foundation Teacher position will commence in Term 1, 2027. The successful teacher will join a supportive P-12 environment and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned learning to Foundation students. The school is seeking teachers with strong pedagogy, effective classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Experienced teachers and outstanding graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Foundation programs with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.

• Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, assessment and student progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning, shared practice and whole-school initiatives.

• Build positive relationships with students and create a calm, engaging learning environment that supports individual needs.

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

• Relevant Primary teaching qualifications

• Experienced teachers and outstanding graduates are encouraged to apply

• Full Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE's safeguarding onboarding
