Are you a skilled electronics technician with hands-on expertise in high-voltage testing and system diagnostics? Core Personnel Staffing Services is partnering with a world-class power electronics manufacturer in the Katy area to hire an experienced High-Voltage Quality Control Test Technician.

In this critical role, you will perform high-precision electrical testing, advanced circuit troubleshooting, and safety validations on industrial-grade equipment before it ships out to global clients.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties

• High-Voltage & Functional Testing: Perform rigorous production testing, including insulation testing, dielectric withstand, high-voltage isolation, and full operational validation checks.

• Component-Level Diagnostics: Isolate, diagnose, and troubleshoot test failures down to the component level, identifying root causes and outlining repair steps.

• Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation: Read and navigate complex industrial schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and engineering blueprints with precision.

• Compliance & Quality Documentation: Log test results, document system parameters, and generate accurate quality reports in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Safety & 6S Standards: Maintain strict adherence to high-voltage safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and cell cleanliness.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Experience: 1 to 2+ years of hands-on quality control testing in high-voltage, power distribution, or industrial electronics manufacturing.

• Diagnostic Equipment Mastery: Proficient with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, megohmmeters, current clamps, and specialized high-voltage isolation equipment.

• Technical Communication: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) with strong computer proficiency (MS Office) for logging technical test data.

• Physical Capability: Ability to maneuver, lift, and position equipment up to 40 lbs safely across the test floor.
