Mechanical Designer

Mechanical, Plant & Product Designers Due to continued project growth, our client is looking to strengthen its design team with experienced Mechanical, Plant and Product Designers.
These opportunities offer the chance to work on a diverse range of mining, materials handling, industrial and infrastructure projects, supporting clients from concept development through to detailed design and project delivery.
Available opportunities Mechanical Designer – SolidWorks Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for producing detailed 3D models and technical documentation for mechanical equipment, structures and materials handling systems.
Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
• Produce fabrication and construction documentation
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to deliver practical design solutions
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings
• Maintain design quality and compliance with project standards

Plant Designer – AutoCAD Plant 3D This role will focus on the design and layout of processing facilities and associated infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities

• Develop plant layouts, piping designs and general arrangement drawings
• Produce 3D models and associated design documentation
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural and electrical disciplines
• Support design reviews, model reviews and project delivery activities
• Contribute to the development of efficient and constructable design solutions

Product Designer – SolidWorks Supporting a growing products division, you will be involved in the design and development of proprietary equipment and product solutions from concept through to manufacture.
Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies and production drawings
• Develop designs from concept through to fabrication-ready detail
• Work closely with engineers, manufacturing teams and stakeholders
• Participate in product improvement and development initiatives
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revisions

About you

• Demonstrated experience in a Mechanical, Plant or Product Design role
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Experience within mining, resources, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
