Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all project activities, ensuring clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Oversee daily project operations, manage resources, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify and resolve project roadblocks, risks, and obstacles while providing updates to leadership
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, documentation, and reporting
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver quality results and meet project deadlines
  • Lead, train, and support technicians and installers to maximize team performance and job site safety
  • Manage structured cabling and systems integration projects, including networking infrastructure, switches, applications, and related technology systems
  • Oversee project execution within K-12 public sector environments, ensuring customer requirements and specifications are met
  • Review project scopes, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and successful project completion
  • Ensure accurate material tracking, invoicing, and compliance with company safety policies
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience within the low voltage, structured cabling, or systems integration industry
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing technicians, installers, or project teams
  • Knowledge of networking and network infrastructure, including switches, applications, and related systems
  • Experience managing networking projects and coordinating technology installations
  • K-12 public sector experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to review project plans, drawings, and specifications while maintaining accuracy throughout projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive personality with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with teams and customers
  • Industry certifications (BICSI, PMP, or manufacturer-specific certifications) are a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project management software
  • Experience with budgeting, billing, and operational analysis
