Manager – Business Development & Marketing

Location: Puchong, Selangor

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation within the Industrial sector to hire a Manager – Business Development & Marketing. This opportunity is based in Puchong, Selangor.

Position Overview

Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding the customer base, and strengthening client relationships.
Play a key role in increasing revenue, enhancing market presence, and supporting the organisation’s long-term commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients and market segments to target for business development opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Present company products and services to potential clients through various channels such as meetings, presentations, and networking events.
• To successfully get the company’s products technical specification specified in customers/projects tender specification.
• Responsible for online & offline marketing of company brands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales and operations to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical/Electronics or IT-related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
• Experience identifying and researching potential clients and market segments for business development opportunities.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Experience presenting products and services through meetings, presentations, and networking events.
• Ability to successfully get the company’s products technical specifications specified in customers/projects tender specifications.
• Experience in online and offline marketing activities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales and operations.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Experience preparing and presenting sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
