We are seeking an entry level Engineer to support engineering assignments and projects related to utility-scale solar, BESS, and power generation facilities. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, project coordination, performance tracking, technical documentation, and ensuring projects meet design, safety, regulatory, and reliability requirements. The role offers increasing independence based on experience and proficiency.

Job Duties

• Perform engineering assignments ranging from moderately complex tasks to advanced projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support engineering projects with increasing levels of independence based on experience and technical expertise.
• Assist with project management, negotiations, performance tracking, reporting, and project coordination.
• Plan, organize, and manage engineering projects while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
• Support utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power plant operations through technical analysis, engineering oversight, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, reliability requirements, and long-term performance goals.
• Analyze engineering data, develop technical documentation, and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Prepare job cost estimates, pole bore details, NJUNS forms, and other documentation required for construction and maintenance projects.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
• Develop expertise in engineering standards, project coordination, technical analysis, and engineering decision-making.
• Utilize computer applications and engineering software proficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 0–5 years of relevant engineering experience, including engineering studies, analysis, and applying engineering principles to solve moderately complex assignments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of Power BI.
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies, including utility-scale power plants, solar, and/or BESS.
