My client, in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a German-speaking Category Manager to oversee their indirect procurement Facilities Management category.

You will manage a balance of strategic and tactical procurement across seven sites in Europe, with a focus on FM and energy, and lead other site-based projects.

As Category Manager Indirect, you will engage closely with strategic leadership teams across Europe, delivering cost reduction and value chain improvement programs across the region. 

Through the implementation of best practices and management of Procurement activities for indirect services categories, you will endeavour to produce long-term strategic visions.

We are looking for high-calibre candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally 5 years’ experience in Procurement in a similar position covering category management responsibilities in FM
  • Procurement expert with experience operating on a regional and site-based scale, with a drive to deliver best-in-class purchasing methods
  • Fluent English and German is essential
