We’re seeking a Painter to join a manufacturing team in Garrett, IN. In this role, you will support production operations by applying high-quality paint and coatings to steel and aluminum components used in architectural wall systems, canopies, fascias, and walkway covers. Your work is essential to ensuring finished products meet quality, appearance, and durability standards. What You’ll Be DoingAs a Painter, your core responsibilities will include: ? Surface Preparation: Clean, mask, sand, and prep steel and aluminum components prior to painting Painting Coating: Apply paint and coatings using spray equipment according to specifications and quality standards ? Quality Inspection: Inspect finished parts for coverage, thickness, and appearance; perform touch-ups as needed ? Material Handling: Move, hang, and position parts and panels safely throughout the painting process In addition, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized paint area, follow all safety and environmental procedures, and work overtime as required to meet production demands. What We’re Looking ForQualifications: ? Painting or spray-painting experience preferred (industrial/manufacturing a plus) ? Ability to lift 50+ lbs ? Ability to work overtime as required ? Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Skills: ? Attention to Detail: Critical for achieving consistent, high-quality finishes ? Spray Equipment Operation: Important for proper application and efficiency ?
