About the Position
An exciting opportunity is available for a French Teacher to join a thriving Languages faculty, teaching French across Years 7–12. Commencing in Term 3, 2026, this permanent position will suit an educator who is passionate about language acquisition, cultural understanding, and developing confident communicators. The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic faculty that encourages students to engage with language learning in meaningful and authentic ways.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging French language programs aligned with curriculum requirements for Years 7–12.
- Maintain a strong commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive classroom practice.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop curriculum, assessment, and innovative teaching practices.
- Contribute positively to language and cultural initiatives within the wider school community.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for NESA Teacher Accreditation.
- Have appropriate qualifications and experience teaching French.
- Demonstrate strong written and spoken French language proficiency.
- Hold full working rights in Australia.
- Provide two professional referees and complete safeguarding requirements as part of the recruitment process.
