AI Technology Specialist/ AI Business Analyst

Apply directDavidson is partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to appoint a Business Analyst to join its Applications and AI Technology team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the identification, design and delivery of practical AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, decision-making, safety, compliance and operational outcomes. It will suit a Business Analyst with experience across digital or technology delivery and exposure to emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Work with product owners, business stakeholders and technology teams to identify and assess AI use cases.
- Elicit and translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and delivery plans.
- Support the design and configuration of solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, AWS or comparable technologies.
- Manage and prioritise backlogs, participate in Agile ceremonies, and facilitate workshops and demonstrations.
- Support data preparation, testing, AI evaluation, adoption, documentation and continuous improvement activities.
About you
- At least two years’ experience in business analysis, digital product delivery, technology, analytics, automation or AI-related projects.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, OpenAI or comparable cloud AI services.
- Understanding of generative AI, machine learning concepts, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design and responsible AI principles.
- Strong skills across requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, testing and Agile delivery.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
