Senior Product Designer

Introduction:

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team and take ownership of the design aspect of our product development. This role is crucial for enhancing the user experience of our innovative service, which has a significant presence in the Japanese market and is expanding into Asia.

About the Role:

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the best UI/UX designs for our product. You will work closely with project members, including product managers, researchers, BI experts, and engineers, to ensure that the design meets user, business, and technology requirements. For those at a senior level, there will also be opportunities to improve the performance of the entire design team, mentor junior members, and refine design processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create optimal visual designs by considering user needs, business goals, and technological constraints. Develop and improve the overall user experience for the product.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various team members such as product managers, researchers, and engineers to promote development projects and ensure cohesive design implementation.
• Team Leadership: For senior designers, lead efforts to enhance team performance, train junior designers, and refine design processes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Propose and explain design solutions to stakeholders, including management, ensuring alignment with broader product goals.

Requirements:

• Experience: More than 5 years of practical experience in product design for iOS/Android native apps in the consumer industry.
• Design Process: Strong understanding of basic design processes and experience using design tools such as Figma (recommended).
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts clearly.
• Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing examples of your work is required.
