Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Client introduction
Our client is a growing technology solutions provider in Singapore that builds software for the public sector. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Agile team and work on secure, scalable applications.
This is a hands-on development role for an engineer who wants to take on a bit more ownership of their work.
 
Job responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain full-stack applications and features.
• Build frontend applications, backend services, APIs and other components.
• Work with other engineers, business analysts, designers, DevOps teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Turn business and user requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Take part in technical design discussions, code reviews and troubleshooting.
• Write unit and integration tests and help keep code quality high.
• Support CI/CD, secure coding and DevSecOps practices in the development lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve application defects and technical issues.
• Take ownership of your assigned modules and give technical guidance to teammates where needed.

Job requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant software development experience, with strong hands-on full-stack work.
• Experience with technologies such as TypeScript, Angular, React, Next.js, C# or Java.
• Experience with databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming and software development principles.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and Agile or Scrum environments.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating well with the wider team.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code or DevSecOps is a plus. You do not need experience across every area.
