Accountant (32k x 13, Regional Financial Reporting, US Listed)

About the Opportunity

Our client is a US-listed industry leader with a strong international presence and operations across the APAC region. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Hong Kong regional finance team, supporting financial reporting and finance operations across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial reports and management accounts in compliance with statutory requirements and group policies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the region
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders on accounting, tax, and compliance matters
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business performance and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, controllership, or regional finance functions within a sizeable organization
• Knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
