Accountant (≤34k x 13, MNC, Financial Reporting, Regional Exp)

Our client is a well-established MNC with a strong global presence across multiple regions and industries. They are currently seeking an Accountant to join their regional finance team, supporting financial reporting, business operations, and strategic initiatives across Hong Kong and the wider APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, and oversee month-end closing activities
• Produce management reports including balance sheet schedules, income statement analysis, and insightful commentary for business decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. operations, merchandising, and regional teams) to ensure smooth financial operations
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance in collaboration with external auditors and tax partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, or commercial accounting
• Experience in large or fast-paced organizations with regional exposure is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g. ERP); knowledge of BI/AI tools is a plus
• Good command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage
