The Opportunity
This organisation requires a Senior Financial Accountant to provide short-term contract support during a critical period encompassing year-end financial reporting, budget finalisation, and broader finance transformation. Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
- Assist with budget finalisation and forecast development for the upcoming financial year
- Develop and strengthen cashflow forecasting and liquidity management processes
- Support grant accounting, revenue recognition and funding acquittals
- Assist with Board and Finance Committee reporting
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and reporting discipline
- Identify and implement practical process improvements where appropriate
- Provide support and mentoring to the existing finance team
- CA or CPA qualified
- Significant experience as a Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Manager or similar
- Strong cashflow forecasting and working capital management capability
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling expertise
