Apply directThe Probe Cap Hand Assembler is responsible for inspecting and packing tubes and working as a member of the production team to maintain the facility’s safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
- Set up and operate the probe assembly station and supporting equipment according to product specifications and as scheduled by management in a timely manner.
- Apply raw tubes to probe cap by hand and ensure tube/probe assemblies align with quality specifications.
- Ensure box counts are accurate, tape the box shut, apply the correct product label, and place completed product on the pallet.
- Notify film/tube department material handlers when finished products or unused materials are ready to be moved to the warehouse drop area.
- Ensure quality standards are upheld and report any suspect or defective product to the Shift Leader for appropriate action.
- Complete all documentation accurately.
- Train new Probe Cap Hand Assemblers in the proper evaluation and packing of tubes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
- Time management, attention to detail.
- Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
- Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.
