Automatic Door & Roller Shutter Engineer (Sub-Contract) – South Coast
V7 Recruitment is partnering with a leading provider of automatic entrance systems, industrial doors, and access control solutions. Due to a growing portfolio of service contracts, we are looking for experienced Automatic Door & Roller Shutter Engineers to support planned and reactive maintenance across the South Coast.

The Role Contract Type: Sub-Contract – Service & Maintenance
Systems Covered:
  • Automatic Swing Doors
  • Sliding & Bi-Fold Doors
  • Roller Shutters
  • Sectional Overhead Doors
  • Industrial Access Systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on-site.
  • Service a range of automatic and industrial door systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and professionally.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience servicing and maintaining automatic doors, roller shutters, industrial doors, gates, or barrier systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience working within commercial, industrial, or public sector environments.
  • ADSA and DHF qualifications are essential.
  • Valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
What's on Offer
  • Rate: £37–£40 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Location: South Coast
  • Contract: Initial 6-month contract with excellent potential for extension
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, with regular overtime available
  • Payment: Weekly
